The Instagram viewer space is a minefield. Search "private Instagram viewer" and you'll find a hundred sites - most are scams, half are infested with ads or malware, and the rest are barely functional. We started GoomView Hub because nobody was telling readers which tools actually work.
Our mission is simple: review every tool with the same rigor, score them honestly, and update the rankings every week. We want every reader to walk away with one clear answer to "which tool should I actually use?"
GoomView Hub was founded in 2024 by Jake Thompson, a former TechCrunch and The Verge writer with 8 years of experience covering social media tools. Today we're a 4-person editorial team - a senior reviewer, a tools tester, a legal contributor, and Jake leading editorial. Read our full team bios.
Every tool gets scored on 5 weighted factors: Privacy (25%), Speed (20%), Features (20%), UX (20%), and Value (15%). The weighted sum becomes the final score out of 10. There is no subjective "editor's hunch" baked in. See the full breakdown on our methodology page.
